11/18/04 - Twiddy Realty Web Site Launched

Twiddy Realty has launched a completely redesigned, more user friendly web site at www.twiddyrealty.com. It is the only local real estate web site with the following features:

• Street name, Neighborhood and Keyword searches
• Automatic email updates when properties become available that match saved searches including when a listing is added for a specific street.
• Save Listings to your personal favorites
• Results 'snapback' allows one-click access to last search results
• Side-by-Side Comparison of properties
• Detailed demographic data for each property
• Search Recall allows one click recall of last search setttings

The web application development and site redesign was performed by Web Development Technology Partners (wdtp.com) of Williamsburg. 11/11/04 - NRHA Web Site Wins National Award

The revamped Web site of Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, launched in April 2004, has earned an Honors award from the League of American Communications Professionals in its 2004 Spotlight Awards: Print, Video & Web PR Competition, announced Shurl Montgomery, NRHA’s executive director.

Platinum and gold winners in the Web site categories include ESPN, World Gold Council, Sony Electronics, and Cox Enterprises. NRHA’s Web site joined those of Standard & Poor's and Lockheed Martin in the Honors category.

NRHA’s site was built by the Williamsburg-based firm Web Development Technology Partners, inc. (wdtp.com). The company's vice president, Richard Tisdale, oversaw the site development.

4/5/04 - W&M MBA Alumni Connections Database

Web Development Technology Partners, inc. (wdtp.com) has completed development of the MBA Alumni Connections Database for The College of William & Mary, MBA Career Services department. MBA Alumni Connections allows MBA students to search online for MBA Alumni volunteers. In preparation for graduation, MBA students search by multiple criteria in order to make contact with alumni for different services such as:

• Advice/information about their career field
• Information about their employer
• Information about their geographical area
• Graduate, Professional information/advice
• Resume review and critique

MBA Career Services Associate Director Judy Corello said “This database application will greatly enhance the services we will be able to offer our currently enrolled students as well as alumni who are in a job search. This will in turn make the whole job search process much easier.”

Web Development Technology Partners, inc. (wdtp.com) launches new web site for Dobson Construction Corporation. The site includes an interactive Portfolio and private administrative contact management system linked to the web site contact form.

2/17/04 - Williamsburg Area Dining Guide Launches

Web Development Technology Partners, inc. (wdtp.com) and the Williamsburg Area Restaurant Association (WARA) have officially launched the Williamsburg Area Restaurant Association Dining Guide web site available at www.williamsburgarearestaurants.com.

The new web site acts both as a guide to Williamsburg area restaurants for the general public and as a membership recruitment tool for WARA. The site allows the general public to search for restaurants using different criteria and view details of each restaurant including one click access to view menus, get driving directions, and see photographs. In addition, visitors can securely purchase WARA Gift Certificates at the site which are accepted at over 50 area restaurants.
